A great opening night win by the Toronto Maple Leafs!
Although the team had some ups, and some downs, overall one player really stood out for me!
Freddie Sjostrom.
He was fast, strong on the forecheck, hit, and did all the little things you need from a shut-down third line winger!

Jiggy for doing what he does best: holding steady, nothing fancy, just steady and getting the job done!
ReplyDeleteThe whole Third line impressed me...won a lot of battles and spent most of their time on ice in the offensive zone.
ReplyDeleteKaberle was the big D for me..he played absolutely amazing and it seems like he has his confidence back. Phaneuf was a beast as well.
